Terms of Service

Blurbi generates AI-written product descriptions for you. You own the descriptions you generate. Don't use the service for illegal listings, abuse, or to spam other people. We can suspend accounts that misuse the service. The service is provided as-is, and our maximum liability is limited to what you've paid us in the last 12 months. The full terms are below.

“Blurbi”, “we”, “us” refers to the operator of blurbi.ai and the Blurbi Chrome extension. By using the service you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

You need an account to use Blurbi beyond the public landing-page demo. You must be at least 16. You're responsible for keeping your password secure and for everything that happens under your account. One account per person; don't share logins.

Free — 5 descriptions per month, all platforms, photo-to-listing included up to that limit, Chrome extension access. No card required.

Pro — £9 per month or £79 per year. Unlimited descriptions, bulk CSV generation (up to 100 products per batch), unlimited photo-to-listing, priority generation. Billing is recurring and handled by Stripe.

Cancellation — you can cancel monthly Pro any time from the Stripe customer portal (Settings → Manage subscription); access continues until the end of the current billing period. Annual plans can be refunded within 14 days of purchase; after 14 days they are non-refundable but can be cancelled at the next renewal.

Failed payments — if a renewal payment fails, we'll retry via Stripe and notify you. If retries fail, your subscription will be downgraded to Free.

Price changes — we may change prices for new signups at any time. Existing subscribers will get at least 30 days' notice before any price change to their plan.

You agree not to use Blurbi to:

• Generate descriptions for illegal goods, counterfeits, or items that violate the rules of the marketplace you're listing on
• Harass, deceive, defame, or impersonate any person or company
• Generate sexually explicit, hateful, or violent content
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract our prompts, models, or proprietary techniques
• Bypass rate limits or fair-use limits using multiple accounts
• Resell access to Blurbi without a written agreement with us
• Send our system inputs designed to attack other systems (e.g., prompt injection chains targeting downstream tooling)

We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules, with or without prior notice depending on severity.

To the extent permitted by law, you own the descriptions Blurbi generates for you and can use them however you want — publish them on marketplaces, modify them, sell the products they describe. We claim no rights over your generated content.

You're responsible for verifying that descriptions are accurate for the actual products you're listing. AI can make mistakes; always proofread before publishing. Marketplaces have their own accuracy and policy requirements (e.g., eBay, Etsy listing policies) and you remain responsible for compliance with those.

The Blurbi name, logo, prompts, code, and product design are owned by us. You don't get a licence to use any of them outside of using the service as intended.

We aim for high uptime but don't guarantee uninterrupted service. We may also depend on third parties (Anthropic for AI, Stripe for payments, Vercel for hosting, Supabase for database) and their outages can affect us. We'll make reasonable efforts to restore service quickly when issues arise.

The service is provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We don't warrant that descriptions Blurbi generates will increase your sales or comply with every marketplace rule.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability arising out of or relating to your use of the service is limited to the amount you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We won't be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost sales, or lost data.

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by UK law (e.g., for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud).

We may update the service and these Terms over time. If we make material changes to these Terms, we'll update the “last updated” date and, for active subscribers, notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.

You can stop using Blurbi or delete your account at any time from Settings. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. On termination, your access ends immediately; if you have a paid Pro subscription, see Section 3 for cancellation rules.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales, except that consumers may bring claims in their local courts where required by law.
